Why yes, I'm celebrating this whole month. And this week....the diet is probably on reverse. I can't turn away the cake, cupcakes, and the surprise cheesecake that was brought to me at work. I'll make up for it....next week................right?!? :o)
Honestly, I didn't know what to ask for as gifts for my birthday. Surprisingly in the last week, I've found plenty of things to ask for. I do like practical gifts. And I do think another Fossil watch is practical. :o)
I do enjoy just spending the time with friends and I can't wait to celebrate tonight with friends, tomorrow night with the hubs, and this weekend with family.
These pictures....not some of the best images of us....hot, sweaty, wind blown but I love them. They are real and sum up life. Never really too serious, he's always cracking jokes. It's images like this that I love...the ones that are true. :o)
This crazy bunch. They mean the world to me. And one day...hopefully before this year is over, Mom & Dad are going to have a photo shoot.
Over the past years, I've shared my birthday with Mother's day (I was a mom's day baby), the Cochon de Lait (an annual fair in our parish), and a week of finals. After moving, graduating, and finding true friends....birthdays have been fabulous. No gift is needed, I do however love (and expect) a card. What can I say...I'm a stationary lover. Or maybe I'm obsessed but same difference. :)
I'm more excited about how blessed I feel. I'm so glad that 25 years have been filled with a wonderful life, a truly unconditional loving husband, an amazing family, and the best friends a girl could ask for. What more could I ask for?
I'm so excited to share the happiness today. Trying to live life to the fullest, be the best I can be, and love unconditionally.
Trying to get a schedule going so life will be easier, keeping up with things as they come, and really learning that all those things my mom used to tell me to make life more smoothly..well she was right. (Don't tell her how right she was/is).
