Yesterday, I was tired of sitting at home. The dishes and laundry were done and I was putting off the dusting and vacuuming. So one of my best friends and I decided that we were going to check out the LSU Rural Life Museum. It's in Baton Rouge, even though after driving down the long curvy road, you sort of forget you were just in the busy construction of Essen Lane.
Just some exploring and taking in the sites. In some parts....I felt like I was in my Dad's shed. The old saddles and horse equipment, the barn, all the old wood.....looks just like stuff he would love. :o)
I can't believe that I had not posted about this wedding. I had written it, saved it as a draft, but never hit publish. But today...it will grace the front/top of the blog.
Kristin and Greg are a wonderful couple. Super laid back and just wanting to have fun. I was honored to spend their day with them.
I was so excited that they decided to do a First Look, even though at first they said no. I do love the portraits that they have together.
How exciting to walk into the reception hall and see that there were oreos and milk? They aren't the first bride and groom that I've had to go with cookies and milk and I absolutely love it!!!
There wasn't a shortage of dancing, laughing, music, or anyone having a good time.
Thank you Kristin & Greg for allowing me to be part of your special day.
Cooper....makes my heart melt, makes me smile, makes me laugh....but he's about to turn 2 and I think he is getting a case of the terrible twos. And that does NOT excite me.
He came into this world and within minutes my camera was in his face. Why can't he learn....it's just going to happen? I'm going to take his picture.
So after he threw a fit...and I mean he cut me some eyes, pointed his finger, and mumbled some things that I don't know if I really want to know what he was trying to say....I bribed him. I promised to take him to PawPaw's house and he could ride the tractor. AND....IT WORKED! He put on his vest, he giggled outside and he stood in front of my camera.
So many people have seen the Organic Bloom frames. They are all over Pinterest, all over so many photographers' websites and blogs. They are super cute and super easy to use and add something special to your wall.
Well at the Pursuit 31 Conference....Organic Bloom was a sponsor. We each got a frame in our swag bag....and mine just happened to be PURPLE. Perfect for most of my LSU loving clients.
I was once told to keep on blessing people. I received so many blessings from the conference and I only want to continue the cycle.
So here's the details....
